Apples and Artistry

This weekend I had a chance to tour the Botanical Gardens at the University of British Columbia and the Granville Island Market. Both were inspiring. The former played host to an apple festival, after which I am sure to not need a doctor for a good week. The second is home to artisans and artistry of all shapes, sizes, colours. Both served as fodder for the imagination and a wake up call to the artist in me that I would very much prefer not press snooze on.
